Abstract submission

Instructions for submitting new abstract(s)

All abstract submissions must be received in PDF format on or before 25 March 2022, following the steps described below. Since the technical program is organized in different topic tracks, the authors are required to link the abstract to a specific topic track at the time of the submission.

Steps for submission:

Step 1 Prepare your abstract using our template. The abstract length can be from one to two pages, but cannot exceed two pages including text, figures, and references.

Please be aware that two-page abstracts are required to participate in the best student award.

Step 2 We are proud to have technical co-sponsorship from the IEEE. As such the IEEE provides archiving of the accepted papers and publication in the IEEE. Therefore, abstracts in pdf format have to be IEEE compliant. To ensure that, you must convert the abstract to pdf with the IEEE PDF eXpress site, following these steps:

1) Create an account in IEEE PDF eXpress, if you do not have one. This is a free account and used only for administration of submitted abstracts and accepted papers.

2) Convert you abstract using the conference ID 50927X. The IEEE converted pdf you receive by email will have a paper ID filename, for example: 2022010962.pdf. This filename is critical for timely proceedings publication and must not be altered. However, you may append to this base file name, for example: 2022010962_KenButton.pdf.

Note: We do not provide LaTeX templates as this generates technical issues with the IEEE process. If you nevertheless decide to use LaTeX, you must first convert your LaTeX file to a pdf file and then submit that pdf file to the IEEE PDF eXpress site at the link above to ensure IEEE compliance with your submission.

Step 3 Click the button below to start the submission process

- The authors will be asked to indicate already at the submission phase if they intend to participate live or online to the conference: this initial choice will be only indicative and can be confirmed or changed at the time of the registration. The registration of the authors presenting papers must be terminated by 30 June 2022.
- The papers presented live or online will enter in the same way in the program with a dedicated time scheduled and published in IEEE.
- The schedule of the conference is dictated by the opening times of the Venue. Accordingly the conference will be run entirely in day time in Delft (CET zone).

- The authors will be asked to manifest a preference for oral or poster presentation.
- The papers will then be selected for oral or poster presentation by the TPC depending on the prospected interest that that the papers would attract. The selection of the author for paper to be presented live or online presentation will not have an impact on the decision if the paper is better suited for oral or poster presentation.

The policy of the IRMMW-THz Society is that at least one of the authors of an accepted paper must be present at the conference to present said paper (orally or at a poster session). If the author is not present at the assigned session where the paper is being presented, the paper will be removed from the final digest of manuscripts that is archived on IEEEXplore. This policy will be strictly enforced.
